Project Idea using Twelve Days of Christmas and Christmas Gold Embroidery Design Sets
This is another project of a stunning, wall-hanging quilt made by Viveka Berg from Sweden.
Viveka, thank you so much for your outstanding work!
The quilt is made from a combination of different kinds of fabric, chosen to symbolize each of the
12 days of Christmas.
But what makes this quilt special is the matching fabric that is used to emphasize the beautiful designs. As an illustration,
look at the close up of "Five golden rings". As you can see Viveka chose a snowflake patterned fabric, which gives it a little
creative touch. This way not only the designs on the quilt are meaningful, but the fabric itself makes quilt richer. Each day
of Christmas on the quilt looks like a window toy gallery that you see on Christmas days at department stores. It is a pleasure
to embroider and you will not be able to take your eyes off of it till the last day of Christmas!
The quilt is embroidered using two Embroidery Design Sets: the "gallery" made from Twelve Days of Christmas and "decorations"
around the gallery from Christmas Gold Embroidery Designs,
where Viveka used metallic thread to embroider.
Full-color photograph that will give you a glimpse of that gorgeous quilt:
