White Placemats Set with Lace Corners:
This set of linen placemats has been accomplished by Viveka Berg from Sweden. Viveka, thank you so
much for the beautiful project!
The lace corner designs has been embroidered separately on water soluble backing. Then they've been
attached to ready linen placemats. The Lace corners are from
Irises Lace designs set. And here are some photos
of the ready placemats:
Required supplies:
Iris Lace designs (available here...)
Water soluble backing to embroider the lace - preferably fabric-type water soluble (available here...)
Strong poly embroidery thread. You may use regular poly thread, but if your machine takes L-size bobbins, we highly recommend you to get a
special thread kit with prewound bobbins in matching colors. It will save you plenty of time. Lace designs are stitch-intensive and take a lot of bobbin thread.
Ready blank linen placemats.
