Standing Stocking - Sewing Pattern Download Page::

This cute little stocking has a sole, making it possible to put it under a Christmas tree as a gift box. If you insert a piece of wire inside, it will stand on it's own.
It's really easy to sew - first you sew the body parts together on each side (except of the opening), with the seams out. Cover the side seams using a ribbon. Sew the sole in a very similar way, and cover all the remaining seams and the top using similar kind of ribbon. We've also decorated our stocking top with lovely "golden" bells hanging on chains. You may do the same, or add some other decoration, like bows, bead pendants or some fringe. And, of course - remember to stitch an embroidery design on stocking half, before you sew all the parts together:-))
