Elegant tea cozy with Sweetfashion Roses designs
Pictures of this elegant tea cozy have been contributed to us by Brenda Rackley. Brenda appeared to have a real talent not only for sewing and embroidery, but also for taking photos. We've had a hard time selecting - they are all beautiful. There are also a photo taken in the middle of work!
Brenda used some velour fabrics for main part of her tea cozy and inserted a beatiful double folded golden ribbon between the two sides. She used designs from "SweetFashion Roses" set for decoration, and made a brilliant use of golden metallic thread! As you see, metallics add a lot. In addition to tea cozy Brenda made two matching white napkins with roses.
Tip: If you would like to use similar type of velour or velvet fabric for embroidery, using water soluble topping film will help preventing stitches from sinking into the fabric.
