Art Nouveau Style Tablemap with Irises:
This original table cloth was created by Viveka Berg from Sweden. Viveka, thank you so much for the creative idea and project!
Viveka embroidered a single design from Iris Blossoms set, four times, in different colors, to make the beautiful center. The middle square between the irises was quilted with decorative net in matching color, to give the center a feeling of one large single design. The tablecloth is in white linen. Required supplies:
Iris Blossoms designs (available here...)
Laundry-safe machine embroidery thread in appropriate colors (available here).
Blank table cloth in square or round shape. You may use any color - not necessarily white. But mono-color fabric is recommended.
Embroidery backing - for this project medium weight tearaway is great.
